Obviously, your device will have to support this feature, but if supported, you automobile will unlock when you get close enough, and will require to be in the automobile to start the automobile. This will eliminate the need for a physical key hole that can be picked, and entered. By using a Digital Key, the driver, and any authorized people will be allowed to use the vehicle. If need be, the owner can order key fobs to provide access to other people, but the wallet app on the smartphone will likely be preferable.
